Pastor Byron is a native of Silverstreet, South Carolina. He has been married to Brae for 27 years, the father of three kids (Kayla, Michael and Alexis) and the grandfather of four (Amani, Alivia, Amerie and Ava).

Pastor B served 24 years in the US Navy. While serving in Japan (2004), he rededicated his life to the Lord at Agape Christian Fellowship. It was here Pastor B attended Agape Divinity School, earning a Certificate of Ministry and Biblical Studies. He also served in several positions: parking lot attendant, armor bearer and Sunday School Teacher to name a few.

In 2014 Pastor B became a covenant partner with The City of Refuge Christian Church, Marysville, WA. In 2015 he attended Ministry Training School and was licensed as a minister by the founder of City of Refuge International, Dr Wayne E. Anderson.

Pastor Byron was received and sent to plant CORCC Charleston in 2017 by Dr Anderson and the ministry leadership team. In the summer of 2022, the Lord laid it upon our hearts to change the name. And through much prayer the name was changed to Faith City Church.

He has an original style of teaching God’s Word with added humor. He also has a passion for marriages and loves sharing his testimony with other husbands and those soon to be.
